Anyone who knows Colfax knows that the tattoo shops are one of the cornerstones of the community and some of the longest-standing fixtures of the street. In 2019, artists from Colfax Ave’s district shops (Bound by Design, End of Days Tattoo, Lifetime Tattoo) donated their designs to our street banners. Now, it’s our turn to give back to them.

Proceeds from every print purchased will go directly to the artist or shop. Tattoo shops have been hit particularly hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Add some new art to your space and support our local artists at the same time.

Description: The ability to work on a Colfax project, involving so many of my peers, on the most historic street in the county, is an opportunity that one doesn’t turn down. It’s an honor being able to contribute to a growing and expansive history of such a prolific area in my hometown. Even in the smallest of ways, I’m happy to give back after all that I have taken. Colfax is the seediest and most decadent stretches of road I have ever been. Experiencing this street since I was a kid, I have been able to look past the grime in the gutter and appreciate the uniqueness that is one in its own. Colfax has its own touch of beauty, but very near is its danger. Reminding me to never let my guard down and take a moment to smell the roses. This street is tough, and even though it’s accommodating to everybody, only the resilient will ever truly enjoy it.
